The Romans Road: A Simple Pathway to Salvation

Jesus invites you to a relationship that transforms. Here’s a heartfelt, six-step “Romans Road” to guide you toward the hope and power found in Christ. Take each step slowly, meditate on the profound truths, and let them inspire you to embrace God’s incredible gift of salvation.

Everyone Needs Rescue:

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)  We are all imperfect, each of us has strayed, choosing our own ways over God’s. Recognizing our need for Him is the first step toward true freedom.

Sin’s Consequence Is Separation:

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)  Sin is not a trifling matter; it leads to spiritual death and separation from our Source of life. Yet God offers us a free gift: eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Christ’s Love Meets Us in Our Need:

“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)  In our unworthiness, God reached out to us. He lived, died, and rose again to bridge the chasm that sin created.

Turning from Sin, Turning to Christ:

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)  Salvation requires both belief and confession. Trust in Jesus’ sacrifice for your forgiveness and openly acknowledge Him as your Lord.

A Simple Prayer Brings Real Change:

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13)  God’s promise is clear and steadfast. Calling upon the name of Jesus is a heartfelt plea for rescue, forgiveness, and transformation.

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)  In Christ, you are free from the chains of guilt and shame. You are fully accepted and empowered to live with purpose, hope, and the presence of God.
